ROYAL VIEW

The Royal View Group

The Royal View Group was formed on 14th August 2018 at a meeting attended by 21 people from 15 of the 45 properties in Royal View. A further 5 supportive owners sent apologies. This was a very wide-ranging meeting which discussed many items of interest not only to Royal View residents but to Riverside dwellers at large. A small sample of points discussed is below.

Visitor Parking, always a hot topic, was discussed, many residents feeling that the parking notices erected in Victoria Bridge Square were offensive and contradictory and in any case said to be already superceded, but the revised parking policy has not been promulgated.

Pinnacle Property Management Vs Crest Nicholson - who is responsible? There was a widespread demand for transparency in matters involving both Pinnacle PM and Crest - particularly with regard to ownership of problems.

Who decides? There were strong feelings about the fact that it appears that Crest or an individual owner/tenant seems to have the power of veto in matters that are important to all - a reasonable democratic process was urgently needed for future decision-making.

Consultation it was widely felt that feedback or opinion from residents is neither sought nor listened to. If Crest and Pinnacle involved residents in policy-making the outcomes for all parties would be greatly improved.
